Wig grips and more...

Hi all,

So today i thought i would go over the wig grips that i have tried.

The first set i purchased on Amazon was FunnAura wig grip headbands. I wanted to try these as they were not velcro fastening on the back and they have a lace front where the wig hairline would normally sit.

Issues:

The quality was very poor and didn't match the image at all
The band was to big for head and with the little adjustment you could do it still wouldnt fit.
The material didn't feel very non slip at all.

Therefore i sent these back straight away.

The second wig cap i tried was :

These are amazing quality, however they didn't stop my wig from slipping. Reading the reviews many people find this wig grip cap amazing. Sadly for me it wasn't suitable.

Wig Cap number 3...

The third wig grip cap i tired was from Dream Lovers, i felt a little more hopeful as the wig grip i currently use is from Dream Lovers also.

I know the price is high considering you can get 2 of the MYKURS wig grip caps for the same price but the Dreamlover one has an extended bit of velvet that covers more of your head therefore offers a bit more grip. This one works perfect for me and means i don't have to wear a separate wig cap and the material is very soft on my scalp.

Wig Grip number 4...

DWY Wigs are great as they give you a free wig grip with any wig you purchase. It is a very basic wig grip but held my wig in place while i shopped around for a another one.

It looked like the one below with a velcro closure on the back.
